Our Manzanita is all natural and harvested off of one of our own Manzanita Farms thus insuring you of the highest quality possible without any pesticides or herbicides. When you buy from Manzanita World your not only getting 100% organic manzanita, but, your getting some of the freshest and highest quality manzanita there is. We don’t believe in chopping down manzanita and letting it sit for months or even years in dusty, bug and rodent infested warehouses as we’ve seen others do. Instead, our warehouse is nature, and like a fine restaurant, each order is custom made for you. Rain or shine, we’ll go out and cut our manzanita fresh.Whether your looking for wood for decorations, artwork, birds, reptiles, aquariums, wedding centerpieces, etc., Manzanita World has it.
These branches are freshly cut and full of leaves and color. You may easily pull the leaves off, trim or paint your manzanita to suit your needs. The branches are a beautiful rich reddish brown color. As the stems dry they may crack a bit which gives it it’s unique, ancient wisdom tree appearance. Some branches may have small curls where the new colorful skin is coming in and the old skin is peeling off, which is the natural molting process the tree undergoes. The branches themselves will not wilt or die and will look new and fresh for YEARS!!!
Note: Since manzanita is a natural product, sizes, widths, etc., will vary, however, you can easily trim it to your own specifications.
Whether your looking for trees for wedding centerpieces, parrot stands, home decor, etc., we’ve got some of the most beautiful trees around. Simply tell us the size, and, in the comment section tell us what you would like the Manzanita for and we’ll do our best to find the perfect trees for your need.
Need wood for a bird stand? Or, perhaps large pieces for canes, crafts, table/chair legs, etc., order our tree trunk package!

MANZANITA USES…. Weddings / Home Decor / Arts Crafts / Manufacuring Manzanita branches are popular as decorations for weddings, home decor, due to their unique shape, color, and strength when dried. The wood is notoriously hard to cure, mostly due to cracking against the grain, giving it few uses as timber. The slow growth rate and many branchings further decrease the sizes available. Some furniture and art employ whole round branches, which reduces cracking and preserves the deep red color. The dead wood decays slowly and can last for many years, on and off the plant. Sunlight smooths and bleaches manzanita to light grey or white, rendering it superficially akin to animal bones. Because of this and the stunted growth of many species, manzanita is often collected in its more unusual shapes, giving it the nickname mountain driftwood.
Pets also love Manzanita and the wood is used as perches for parrots and other large pet birds. The branches of the larger species are extremely long-lasting for this purpose. Some aquarium keepers use sandblasted manzanita as driftwood in planted aquaria because of its attractive forked growth and its chemical neutrality. If properly cleaned and cured, it holds up well over extended periods of submersion. The wood is also resistant to the leaching of tannins into the water column, a problem often found with other aquarium driftwoods. When used as driftwood, manzanita must often be either weighted down for several weeks or soaked first to counteract the wood’s natural buoyancy.
